Convert PDF and images

Every conversion we support lives in this one tool: turn a PDF into an editable Word document or a spreadsheet, turn a PDF into JPG or PNG images, archive a PDF to PDF/A, print a web page or text file to PDF, or build a PDF from JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC photos. Pick the conversion you need, drop the file in, and download the result.

Common questions

Which conversions are available?

PDF to Word (.docx), PDF to Excel and PowerPoint, PDF to JPG or PNG images, PDF to PDF/A, HTML or text to PDF, and images (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, BMP, GIF, TIFF) to PDF.

Can I turn a PDF into an editable Word document?

Yes. Choose the Word output and the converter rebuilds paragraphs, tables and basic layout. It reconstructs structure from position and spacing, so it is close but not pixel-perfect.

How do I convert images into a PDF?

Add your JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC files, pick a page size such as A4 or Letter, choose portrait or landscape, set the margin, and the images become pages of a single PDF in the order you arranged them.

What is PDF/A and why should I archive with it?

PDF/A is an ISO-standardised, self-contained format for long-term storage. Fonts and colours are embedded rather than referenced, so the file still renders correctly on a machine that lacks the original fonts.

Does converting to images reduce quality?

You choose the DPI. 150 DPI is fine for screen reading, 300 DPI for print. Higher DPI means larger files, because each page is stored as a full-resolution image rather than vector text.
