The short version

Your documents are uploaded to our server, processed there, and deleted from temporary storage as soon as the job finishes.

We do not sell your files. We do not read the contents of your documents.

We set cookies, including advertising cookies if ad personalisation is enabled.

What we collect

Files you upload

When you use a tool, the file is sent to our server over an encrypted connection, processed in memory, and returned to you. Temporary copies are written to a working directory and removed when the job ends. Server access logs do not contain file contents.

If you keep the browser tab open, the file itself stays on your device until you close it.

Usage logs

We keep short-lived request logs containing your IP address, the time of the request, the tool you used and the size of the file. These are used to keep the service running and to diagnose errors.

Logs are not used to build an advertising profile and are not shared with advertisers.

Cookies and advertising

If advertising is enabled, we use Google AdSense and the cookies that come with it. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.

When you print or export a document, advertising elements are removed from the page.

Legal bases

We process data to perform the service you asked for, to keep the service secure and available, and, where you have consented, to show advertising.

Retention and deletion

Uploaded files are deleted from working storage when processing completes, normally within minutes. Operational logs are retained for a short period for security and then deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
